WHO IS BETTER OFF ADVENTURES?
Better off Adventures was established in 2021, to give the everyday person an experience they will be able to keep with them forever. We have a great passion for the country we live in and feel there is so much to experience.
From mountainsides, vast river systems and of course the nearby countryside, there is so much to explore and we want to help you discover it.

Chris Beckett Lead Instructor
Chris is a well established outdoor activities instructor with a major passion for the outdoor industry. Chris has been actively involved in the outdoor industry since he was 16 years old going from school to studying outdoor education for 3 years. Since then he has been progressing through extra NGB Qualifications. Chris also has a great passion for Photography and boasts some impressive wildlife captures.
Fun fact - Chris was part of the first army cadet team to reach Everest Base Camp back in 2009 at the age of 16.
He has the following Qualifications:

- BCU LVL 1 (British Canoeing)
- SUP LVL 1 (Stand Up Paddleboard)
- ERCA High Ropes Qualified
- MIAS LVL 1 (Mountain Bike Instructor)

Matt Snowdon
Business Support

Matt has been a keen climber since age 12 and combines this with a general passion for the outdoors. This passion has taken him to far-flung places all over the world, but he also loves exploring spots closer to home. Whether out on the water or atop a mountain peak, Matt loves to share his passion with others through freelancing as an outdoor instructor.
He has the following Qualifications:
