COVID Policy
As an outdoor activity provider, the health and wellbeing of both our participants and staff is at the heart of what we do.
The regulations that affect life in the UK are expected to change regularly as we progress through the summer season.
As a company, we are constantly monitoring the situation to ensure we operate a “COVID Safe” workplace. All activities have been assessed through an official COVID Risk Assessment, which is available on request. We adhere to all government and national governing body issued guidance, and we expect our participants to hold themselves to these same standards.
To summarize the main practical steps we are currently taking:
-
Our activities take place exclusively in outdoor settings.
-
Our instructors regularly undertake lateral flow tests.
-
Anyone who is self-isolating will not be able to attend.
-
Social distancing is maintained as much as possible. In some situations, this may not be possible due to the nature of the activity. This will be explained before the activity commences, and close contact will still be kept to an absolute minimum.
-
Masks will be required to be worn where social distancing can not be maintained for a significant amount of time.
-
Equipment is quarantined between sessions, and participants are encouraged to avoid swapping equipment between themselves.
-
Where possible, general handwashing and good hygiene practice is encouraged.
-
Group numbers will be limited according to the latest government guidance.
We are firm believers in the power of amazing outdoor experiences, and we are committed to delivering these in the safest possible way.
